Abstract

This study explores the transformative role of art in interior design through qualitative analysis of diverse case studies and interviews with professionals and homeowners. Findings reveal that art serves as a powerful tool for personal expression, creating focal points, and enhancing spatial dimensions within interiors. It significantly influences color schemes, styles, and themes, enriching spaces with cultural diversity and aesthetic depth. Art's ability to reflect individual identities and values shapes environments that are not only visually appealing but also deeply meaningful. Discussions underscore its integral role in defining the character and ambiance of interior settings, bridging the gap between architectural design and emotional engagement. Conclusions highlight the necessity of art in fostering inclusive and culturally rich spaces, suggesting future research directions in digital art integration, sustainable practices, and the psychological impacts of art in enhancing occupant well-being. This study advocates for a holistic approach to interior design where art plays a central role in creating environments that resonate with and inspire their inhabitants.
