Access and Use of Agricultural Information for Crop Production in Nigeria: A Systematic Review
Abstract
Agricultural information plays a crucial role in enhancing farmers’ decision-making, innovation adoption, and crop productivity. However, access to and utilization of such information remain uneven across Nigeria’s smallholder farming communities. This study systematically reviewed empirical evidence published between 2010 and 2025 on farmers’ access to and use of agricultural information for crop production in Nigeria. Using the PRISMA framework, relevant literature was retrieved from databases including Scopus, Google Scholar, AJOL, and ResearchGate.
