Diagnostic Contribution of the FilmArray® Gastrointestinal Panel in Infectious Gastroenteritis: A Five-Year Retrospective Study in a Moroccan Military Hospital

Abstract

Accurate and rapid diagnosis of infectious gastroenteritis is essential for effective management. The FilmArray® Gastrointestinal Panel is a multiplex PCR system that enables the simultaneous detection of 22 enteropathogens from a single stool sample. The aim of this study was to evaluate the diagnostic contribution of the FilmArray® Gastrointestinal Panel in patients suspected of having infectious gastroenteritis at the Avicenne Military Hospital in Marrakech.
