Review of Global Trauma Due to Spillovers from the War on Gaza -Secondary & Vicarious Effects
Abstract
The spillover of the war on Gaza has generated profound psychological, social, and geopolitical trauma with far-reaching global consequences. This paper explores the multifaceted impact of this spillover, including widespread survivor and intergenerational trauma among the empathisers, including the Palestinians in the diaspora, the rise of polarization and institutional distrust worldwide, and the emergence of global Palestine solidarity movements among new generations.
