Abstract

Tracer studies are essential tools for educational institutions, providing insights into program effectiveness and alumni outcomes. This study examines the enrollment decisions of grade 6 graduates at St. Paul University Surigao (SPUS) and evaluates the manifestation of Paulinian Core Values and the relevance of essential learning competencies from grade school to junior high school. Data from 71 respondents were collected through surveys and analyzed using statistical tools. The findings highlight factors influencing enrollment decisions, such as school-related reasons and concerns about quality and finances. Additionally, the study emphasized the consistent manifestation of Paulinian Core Values and the relevance of essential learning competencies, with recommendations for aligning elective subjects with student demands and providing tailored support for students at risk of discontinuation.
