Personalised Learning in The Digital Age: Exploring The Role of Technology in Tailoring Education to Individual Student’s Needs.
Abstract
Personalized learning in the digital age has transformed education by leveraging technology to cater to individual students’ needs. Traditional education systems often adopt a one-size-fits-all approach, which may not address the diverse learning styles, paces, and preferences of students. Digital tools such as artificial intelligence (AI), adaptive learning platforms, and data analytics are now enabling educators to customize learning experiences. These technologies facilitate real-time feedback, differentiated instruction, and student-centered learning pathways, fostering engagement and improved outcomes. Additionally, personalized learning enhances accessibility by providing tailored resources for students with disabilities and learning challenges. However, the integration of technology in education presents challenges, including concerns over data privacy, the digital divide, and the need for teacher training. Despite these challenges, the potential benefits of technology-driven personalized learning are vast, enabling students to take ownership of their learning journey.
