Abstract

The fourth industrial revolution (4IR) powers global education improvements. 4IR helps any country produce or develop a well-rounded person who can survive in his surroundings and contribute to society's existence. This article discusses how 4IR technology can avoid and resolve Nigerian educational challenges. The paper shows that the Nigeria’s educational issues stem from poor funding, corruption, poor welfare packages, and etc.   But integrating 4IR technology into the educational system can help the government and stakeholders address associating challenges. By monitoring socio-political and educational changes, blockchain, big data analytics, and AI can help the government and stakeholders provide fitting solutions to the issues confronting educational system. More so, partnerships with local and national civil society organisations and academic institutions are needed to improve government and stakeholder socio-political understanding and ensure varied viewpoints inform solutions.
