Digital Transformation and Good Governance

Abstract

Digital transformation significantly impacts good governance by enhancing transparency, accountability, citizen engagement and efficiency in government operations through features like online services delivery, data driven decision making and accessible information , ultimately leading to more responsive and inclusive governing system. This paper will focus on evolution process of digital transformation which enhances the effectiveness of good governance. Additionally, the objective of this paper is to make people aware about digital tools with the aim in the mind of making citizen centric system. Moreover, paper discusses impact of digital tools in different sectors such as education, health and judiciary. Consequently, will discuss its challenges of digital transformation, how excessive dependability and reliability hinder the human capacity and manpower and what the government initiatives that enhance the capacity.
