Abstract
The implementation of supply chain management (SCM) has changed as a result of the business environment's rapid transformation. This paper aims to discuss the advantages of supply chain management (SCM) and how businesses use it to keep their competitive advantage. The five fundamental supply chain management steps such as plan, source, make, deliver, and return discussed should be carried out and continuously and carefully assessed in order to establish a lasting competitive advantage. To keep the business from being shut down by the government, SCM should think about choosing strategic relationships based on the supplier's legal status in addition to the most economical and efficient cost structure. Maintaining relationships and trust with suppliers is important, and in order to maintain competitive advantages, a company's supply chain management technology should be improved, compared, or integrated with other businesses.
