Enhancing Competitive Advantage through Supply Chain Management Strategy
Abstract
In today’s competitive global market, effective supply chain management (SCM) is a critical factor in achieving profitability, customer satisfaction, and competitive advantage. This paper explores the strategic role of SCM by examining the practices of two e-commerce giants, Shopee and Shein. Through comparative analysis, the study identifies key SCM strategies, including Shopee’s customer-centric logistics and partnerships and Shein’s agile production model. The research highlights the significance of SCM in cost reduction, quality improvement, and innovation while addressing challenges such as ethical sourcing and environmental sustainability. The findings emphasize the need for strategic partnerships, technology adoption, and sustainable practices to sustain a competitive edge in the dynamic business landscape.
